CEEPUS A/004 network
Information for foreign students

The Network A4 exists since 1994. Participating universities are: Bratislava, Bucarest (since 2000/2001), Budapest (KGRE), Budapest (ELTE), Brno, Debrecen, Cracow, Ljubljana, Prague, Olomouc, Szeged, Vienna, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Zagreb.

The Network A4 aims to intensify contacts between the participating institutes by exchanging students and lecturers. It also aims to increase the compatibility of the curricula by recognizing
courses, exams etc. of the partner universities. For that matter, both Dutch and Slavonic as well as Finno-Ugrian studies are implementing ECTS in their curricula.

Another principal goal of the network is to improve the position of both the Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian languages and the German and Dutch language and to improve the quality of those studies within Central Europe. We also aim to improve the students' knowledge of the languages and cultures involved. Therefore, mobility itself is the most important objective for all partner universities: the exchange of students and teachers enables them to experience the enrichment of studying abroad and to experience living 'in' another language and in another culture.
(A more detailed info with a list of the partners.)
